Delicious BBQ Recipes for Labor Day Including 911 Relief for Burns and Bug Bites

Labor Day is around the corner, and it is a great time to gather with friends and family for a delicious BBQ. Here are a few of our favorite Labor Day recipes that can turn your grilling and gathering game up a notch. However, summer weather means bugs and sunburns. So don't let the pain and itch of sunburns and bug bites ruin the fun. Make sure to include 911 Relief to your Labor Day "menu" to provide fast, all-natural pain and itch relief.

Sweet and Spicy Grilled Burgers
Ingredients:
Ground beef (can substitute chicken or turkey)
Honey
Pineapple
Soy Sauce
Cilantro
Garlic
Red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  • In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with honey, soy sauce, cilantro, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
  • Cut the pineapple into slices, and grill them for 2-3 minutes, then remove from the grill.
  • Form the beef mixture into burger patties and grill until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Assemble the burger by placing the burger patty on the bottom bun, add a slice of grilled pineapple, and top with the top bun.

Grilled Caesar Salad
Ingredients:
Romaine Lettuce
Caesar dressing
Croutons

Instructions:
  • Cut the romaine lettuce in half and brush the cut sides with olive oil.
  • Grill for 1-2 minutes until lightly charred.
  • Take off the grill, and place on a plate.
  • Drizzle with Caesar dressing and add croutons.

BBQ Shrimp Skewers
Ingredients:
Jumbo shrimp
Olive oil
Garlic
Paprika
Salt and pepper
Lemon juice

Instructions:
  • Thread the jumbo shrimp onto the skewers
  • In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt and pepper.
  • Brush the marinade over the shrimp skewers.
  • Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp is pink and cooked through.
  • Squeeze some lemon juice over the skewers before serving.


911 Relief for Burns and Bug Bites
Ingredients:

911 Relief spray bottle

Instructions:

  • For heat burns from grilling - rinse area under cold running water, then spray with 911 Relief. Let dry and reapply 911 Relief one or two more times for immediate pain relief.
  • For bug bites & stings - remove stinger from skin (if stung), the apply 911 Relief spray directly to impacted skin. Let dry and reapply 911 Relief one or two more times for quick pain and itch relief.
